KITCHENER, ON | June 3, 2025 — Get ready for an unforgettable musical adventure as the Kitchener Musical Society Band takes center stage at THEMUSEUM for an afternoon concert full of timeless classics the whole family will love!
From the fiery depths of Dante’s Inferno to the sweeping hills of the Scottish Highlands, and the magic of Broadway’s Wicked, this concert features songs that will ignite your imagination! The Kitchener Musical Society Band will also be debuting a new composition by Composer in Residence, Matthew Donnelly as part of the afternoon.
“THEMUSEUM is thrilled to partner with the Kitchener Musical Society Band once again. It is a wonderful afternoon filled with music, and showcases our talented local musicians”, said Katelynn Dietrich, Director of Public Programming at THEMUSEUM. “We are happy to be a third place that the community can access to be immersed in culture, whether it is through music or art”.
This special concert is not just a celebration of music but also of community support. The Kitchener Musical Society Band will be collecting donations on site in support of the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth, helping animals in need across the region.
Donations made to the Humane Society on this date will be used to support their Better Together Capital Campaign, which aims to ensure every pet and family in our community receives the support they need by building a new Community Outreach Centre, expanding services like a Community Outreach Vehicle, Pet Pantry, and more. Tax receipts will be available for those who donate $20 or more.
