Come learn\ , imagine\, create and make. Experience our Underground Studio Makerspace\ , explore our exhibition THEPLAYGROUND and EYEPOOL and work towards some b adges. Take a tour through our KALEIDOSCOPE exhibit\, and enjoy our Star Lab and MakerSpace. The sleepover will offer free-time exploring THEMUSEUM \, programming\, snack\, ‘campfire’ fun\, and light continental breakf ast!\n\nInformation on the scouts sleepover can be found online now too!  \n\nCost\n\n\n\nSupervision Requirements\n1:8 ratio for Embers and Guiders \n1:5 ratio for Sparks\n\n\nChild\n$60.00 + HST\n\n\nAdult \n$25.00 + HST\ n\n\n\nSchedule\nFriday\n\n6:00pm – 6:30pm | Arrival time\n6:30pm – 6: 45pm | Completion of payments\n6:45pm – 7:00pm | Organization\n7:00pm – 9:15pm | Programming in rotations\n9:15pm – 9:40pm | "Campfire" and light snack\n9:40pm – 10:30pm | Set-up for bed\n11:00pm | Lights out!\n\ nSaturday\n\n7:00am – 7:30am | Wake-up\, pack-up\, get dressed\, etc.\n7 :30am – 8:30am | Continental Breakfast\, Morning stretches or similar pr ogramming\n8:30am – 9:15am | Pick-up\nInstructions for Registration\n\n Register your unit through this online form.\n You will receive a confir mation that your form was received and a link to pay a 50% deposit within 1 to 2 weeks. Once payment is received by THEMUSEUM\, you will also receiv e additional details about the event and what to bring as well as the waiv er form(s).\n One week prior to the sleepover\, you will receive an email from THEMUSEUM providing you with a detailed timeline for the evening\, a copy of our updated Emergency Response plan and contact information for t he event organizers if you have any programming related questions.\n In t he weeks leading up to the sleepover\, please ensure that all attendees ha ve signed a waiver form.\n\n All guiders must be listed on the Girl Guide s Waiver Form which will be signed by a named guardian.\n\n\n On the day of please arrive no earlier than 6:00 pm at THEMUSEUM with a signed waiver form for all attendees. Unit Leaders will check in with Guest Services to pay their remaining balance by no later than 7:00 pm.\n For security\, T HEMUSEUM automatically locks at 6:45 pm and parents or guardians who arriv e after this time must use the intercom panels to be let into the building .\n\nFrequently Asked Questions\nWhat if less guides attend the sleepover than anticipated?\n\nThis is fine\, it happens quite often. On the day of the event you will be charged the remaining balance for the final number o f guiders who attended  the event. For example\, if you paid the 50% for 20 attendees (which is 10)  and only 15 attended the sleepover\, you will only be charged for the remaining 5 scouts. We will not reimburse you if your expected attendance goes below 50%.\n\nDoes THEMUSEUM have an emergen cy evacuation procedure?\n\nYes\, THEMUSEUM has an emergency response plan for the night of the sleepover. Two staff members will stay on site overn ight to act as emergency coordinators. You will receive the emergency resp onse plan one week prior to the event.\n\nDo you accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions?\n\nTHEMUSEUM does our best to accommodate dietary r estrictions if we are informed of them in advance. Please include any alle rgies and dietary restrictions on your registration form. All of the snack s served during the sleepover will be nut free.\n\nWill you be providing f ull meals for the guides and supervisors? \n\nNo. We ask that all guides a nd supervisors eat dinner before arrival. THEMUSEUM will provide a light  evening snack of juice\, granola bar\, fruit or similar and a continenta l breakfast for all participants. We encourage everyone to bring a refilla ble water bottle to fill at our water stations in the building.\n\nAre you r staff first aid certified?\n\nYes. Most of THEMUSEUM staff are First Aid certified and at least one the overnight staff will have their up to date certification.\n\nWhat if one of my guides will not be staying overnight? \n\nThat is fine\, they can be picked up at any time\, just let the staff at the front desk know so they can watch out for the door. Please note\, t hat the price for the guide will be the same as the ones who are staying o vernight.
